AWARDS CEREMONY

In the classes Mix 06, G/J-07 through G/J-12, there will be individual awards presented during a ceremony after the final match. The presentation will take place on the outdoor stage at Fjellhamar Hall. Everyone will have their name announced and will receive their award personally from a player of Fjellhammer's women's or men's team.

Starting from G/J-13 up to senior levels, team awards will be given based on placement in the A or B finals. Only finals will be played, and the winner and runner-up will be awarded, along with the final's MVP (most valuable player). There will be no bronze finals played.

ACCOMMODATION

We offer three different accommodation options:

A-card: Accommodation in schools around the halls we use. Each team is assigned its own classroom. There are no facilities, so participants must bring their own air mattresses or sleeping pads, as well as sleeping bags or similar items.

AA-card: Teams that book this card are guaranteed accommodation at Fjellhamar School. This includes field beds with sleeping bags.

The schools have a staffed kiosk and are monitored by night guards, but teams must provide:

  • At least one adult (over 23 years old)

  • An updated list of the number and names of all overnight guests (according to fire regulations)

  • A responsible person to ensure that it is quiet in the rooms by 12:00 AM.

AAA-card: Hotel accommodation. Prices for accommodation are based on four-person rooms. There is an additional charge for single or double rooms of NOK 1,250 per person. Breakfast is served at the hotel.

ARENAS

Even a large tournament can feel intimate. We use 14 playing areas, all within a 5-minute drive from the main arena. There is a tournament bus that runs between all the arenas listed below. This service is included with the X-card or costs 100 NOK per day. Click on the arena you’re heading to for a map in Google Maps.

  • Benterudhallen (1 court)

  • Ellingsrudhallen (1 court)

  • Fjellsrud School (accommodation)

  • Fjellhamar Arena (2 courts)

  • Fjellhamar School (accommodation)

  • Fjellhamarhallen (3 courts)

  • Slorahallen (2 courts)

  • Skårerhallen (1 court)

All matches take place indoors. The A-finals will be held at Fjellhamar Arena, and the B-finals at Lørenskoghallen, both fully equipped as if they were elite league matches. This means a sound and light show, a speaker, a large screen, and as always during the Fjellhammer Cup: the national anthem followed by the awards ceremony and the selection of the MVP of the finals.

REFEREES/OFFICIALS

Referee registration takes place in the Profixio app. Click on "registration" and navigate to referee registration, or click here! If you wish to be part of our fantastic organizing team, there are many tasks that need to be addressed during such a large tournament. Contact jon@playhandball.no and let us know you’re available :)

Referees and officials are an essential part of successfully running such a large cup. Therefore, we have dedicated staff whose sole responsibility is to take care of you. SECRETARIAT / TOURNAMENT STAND

The entire tournament committee is gathered in the office at Fjellhamar Arena. Here, all those responsible for the tournament are available, so feel free to stop by if you need assistance with any questions, big or small. The referees will also have their own room nearby, and we have dedicated vehicles available for "emergency assistance."

MEDICAL & SAFETY

We have our own medical team based primarily at Fjellhamar Hall. If you need assistance with anything from blisters to more significant medical help, feel free to stop by. The medical team also has its own vehicle just a few minutes away in case something more serious arises. Additionally, we have the reassurance that Akershus University Hospital (Ahus) is only a stone's throw away should a doctor be needed. Our medical services are led by our partner, Nemus.

We also have several individuals available to ensure a safe experience both at the tournament and in the surrounding areas. These support staff assist with everything from locating lost equipment to helping people find each other. The tournament's "meeting point" is clearly marked right by the main entrance to Fjellhamar Arena.
